Chromb! chega-nos de França, da região de Lyon, e conquista-nos com um rock progressivo cheio de liberdade jazzística e envolvimentos com melodias instrumentais e vocais (seja em duetos ou a solo). Não existem guitarras neste conjunto, o que não retira o potencial energético e melódico que persiste em explorar toda e qualquer sonoridade além rock, despindo-se de eventuais catalogações.
O experimentalismo é também visual, como pode ser visto em alguns dos seus telediscos (como por exemplo, Le Tombeau est vide), que harmonizam alguma sátira com surrealismo e um grande à vontade em desbravar territórios outrora dominados por clichés.
Assim como PoiL (também uma banda assinada pela editora Dur et Doux) são partilhadas afinidades na conquista de sonoridades vanguardistas, sem descurar as harmonias de rock progressivo elegante, reminiscentes de uns Soft Moon que se aliam a rasgos de cariz de improviso com um carimbo Zorn.

Chromb! comes from Lyon in France and conquers us with a progressive rock filled with jazzy freedom and instrumental and vocal (be it in duet or solo) melodies. There are no guitars present but that does not take away any of the energetic and harmonic potential that persists in exploring rock and beyond, stripping away any labels.
The experimentalism is also present in some of their videoclips (for instance, Le tombeau est vide) that harmonize some satire with surrealism and a great ease in pursuing territories that were once populated by clichets.
