Os dias deixam-nos mal dispostos e com cara sisuda tendo em conta a situação recorrente, é preciso lutar contra o sistema imunológico psicológico para mudar o paradigma com algumas actividades benéficas de forma a contrapor o estado actual, uma delas passa por ouvir rock 'n roll sem pensar muito nos limites do volume.
Uma nova proposta são os Electric Feat. Chegam-nos da Grécia e trazem um batido de influências: Pentagram, Blue Oyster Cult, Cream, Alice Cooper, Blue Cheer, Fraction, Grand Funk Railroad, Josefus, Sir Lord Baltimore com umas pitadas de gritos agudos à la King Diamond. Lançam o primeiro álbum de rock psicadélico pela editora independente e mais activa da Grécia, a Inner - Ear Records. O álbum homónimo tem reminiscências setentistas e vibrações proto-doom sem descurar o retro. Os Electric Feat revisitam o rock mais nostálgico dos 70, um registo que se divide em 10 temas com influências de Alice Cooper, Doors, e psicadelismo Jimi Hendrix. Brutal, misteriosa, doce, animada, sensacional, a música dos Electric Feat atrai do começo ao fim enquanto se faz um passeio selvagem.
O teledisco para o tema The Caveman apresenta a figura de Rasputin maquiavélico num universo paralelo. O monge russo extermina a família Romanov, incluindo a filha preciosa Anastásia, e transforma-se, desta feita, na figura mais poderosa e importante do seu país. Mal Rasputin adivinha que a vingança serve-se fria.
Dizem que o rock morreu, mas há quem o queira ressuscitar, nem que seja num processo de auto-combustão, qual Fénix ressurgida das próprias cinzas.
O álbum foi gravado num registo de concerto ao vivo nos estúdios Diskex, uma produção de Sergios Voudris. Aqui ouve-se hard rock que se abre à diversão e ao convívio com os amigos prontos a beber canecas de cerveja frescas com direito a jukebox. Electric Feat são quatro gregos que gostam de se divertir com bom rock: Dr. Nanos, Madam Manthos, Prins Obi e The Tree. Uma banda que se quer ver em festivais de verão familiares. One new proposal is Electric Feat. They come from Greece and bring a ton of influences: Pentagram, Blue Oyster Cult, Cream, Alice Cooper, Blue Cheer, Fraction, Grand Funk Railroad, Josefus, Sir Lord Baltimore with a bit of shrieked screaming on the style of King Diamond. They release their first album of psych rock by the independent and active label Inner - Ear Records. The album also titled Electric Feat makes us recollect the 70's, it has proto-doom vibes but still remains retro. Electric Feat revisit the more nostalgic rock from the 70's, a record that divides itself in 10 themes with influences from Alice Cooper, Doors and the psychedelia of Jimi Hendrix. Brutal, mysterious, sweet, animated, sensational, the music played by Electric Feat attracts us from the beginning until the end while we take a wild stroll.
The videoclip for the song The Caveman presents the figure of the machiavellian Rasputin in a parallel universe. The russian monk exterminates the Romanov family, including the lovely daughter Anastasia, who ends up being the most powerful and important figure of the country. Rasputin will soon learn that vengeance is a dish best served cold.
They say that rock is dead, but there are some who want to resuscitate it, even if it means by a process of self-combustion, like a Phoenix rising from her flames.
The album was recorded in a live session at the Diskex studios, and produced by Sergios Voudris. It's pure hard rock that opens itself to moments of fun with friends and a couple of cold beers next to a jukebox. Electric Feat are four greeks that like to have fun with some good old rock: Dr. Nanos, Madam Manthos, Prins Obi and The Tree. A band one wishes to see in summer festivals. Long live Rock 'n' Roll, from Athens to the rest of the world!
